International Women’s Day
On the occasion of March 8th, we would like to sincerely congratulate all the wonderful women on this special holiday!
🇵🇱 Women’s Day in Poland has a rich historical path, dating back to the times of the Polish People’s Republic. The then government emphasized the important role of women in all spheres of life.
The custom of giving gifts, including flowers, originated at that time and remains a symbol of this holiday. Even when there was no opportunity for lavish gifts, women received attention and care in the form of tights, towels, coffee, and soap.
Even after the abolition of centralized celebrations in 1993, March 8th continues to be an important day in Poland. On this day, various events are held aimed at supporting equal rights for women and men, as well as exhibitions and promotions.
Special Works wishes you a bright spring mood and boundless joy!
